Lurana Documentation¶
Lurana is a workflow and document management suite. This portal covers the products and the services they share.
| Product | What it does | Start here |
|---|---|---|
| Lurana BPM | Design processes, work with cases, supervise teams, and administer the platform. | Lurana BPM |
| Lurana DMS | Manage documents, folders, search, and document flows with BPM. | Lurana DMS |
| Audit and monitoring | Shared audit-log and analytics service used by BPM and DMS. | Audit and monitoring |
How the products fit together¶
- Lurana BPM is the primary product. It owns process design, case execution, users, roles, and most configuration.
- Lurana DMS is the document management product. It has its own users, permissions, document taxonomy, and audit log, and integrates with BPM cases.
- Audit and monitoring is a microservice. BPM embeds its dashboards and Explorer; DMS publishes events to it and keeps a separate DMS audit log.
Who this documentation is for¶
- Operators — work with cases in BPM and documents in DMS.
- Process designers — build processes, forms, and document flows.
- Administrators — manage users, roles, settings, and plugins.
- Auditors and managers — follow activity, investigate cases, and export evidence.
A note on availability¶
What you see depends on your workspace, your role, and the plugins installed in your environment. Where a feature is delivered by a plugin, the page says so. Features that are demonstrations rather than production behavior are marked Preview.
