Plugins

Admin → Plugins → Plugins Manager turns the plugins installed in the workspace on and off.

Plugins manager

The list

Each plugin shows its name, main class, version, and type (modern or legacy). Search by name to find one in a long list.

Enable or disable

  1. Select one or more plugins.
  2. Choose Enable or Disable.
  3. Confirm the change.

Disabling hides the plugin's menu entries and features. Its data is not deleted, so enabling it again brings the features back with the data they had.

What changes when you disable a plugin

Area Effect
Menus Entries contributed by the plugin disappear for everyone
Roles The permissions the plugin published are no longer offered when editing a role; assignments already made stop granting anything
Case Tables Tables of a plugin-provided type are not reachable while the plugin is off
Integrations Anything that calls the plugin stops working

After enabling or disabling, reload the page. If a menu entry does not come back, sign out and in: the menu is built at the start of a session.

Before disabling

  • Find out who uses it. The plugin may be the only route to data people rely on.
  • Check the roles that reference its permissions; they will look empty but keep the assignments.
  • Disable on a quiet moment, not in the middle of a process that depends on it.

Legacy plugins

A plugin marked legacy usually belongs to an older interface. It may still work, but it is not the one to build new processes on.

Permissions

This page requires PM_SETUP and the plugin-manager permission. Some installations disable the manager itself; in that case the entry does not appear. See Permission reference.

  • Roles — permissions, including the ones plugins publish.
  • DMS integration — a plugin with its own admin section.
