Folder Explorer¶
Folder Explorer (Estructura de carpetas) is the tree view of the document repositories. Use it to browse folders, find documents by location, and work inside a case's document structure.
Browse the tree¶
- Open Estructura de carpetas.
- Select a repository.
- Expand folders to reach the level you need.
- Open a folder to see its documents.
The tree supports deep hierarchies. Large folders load lazily.
Views¶
Switch between:
- List view
- Icon view
- Gallery view
The view controls which details appear and how previews are shown.
Search inside the explorer¶
- Use the folder search to find a folder or document in the current repository.
- Search modes are configurable by an administrator.
- Use the BPM case search to find a case and its documents.
Work with documents¶
From the explorer you can:
- open a document in the document panel;
- preview a document;
- open the version gallery;
- open the folder metadata form;
- upload documents to a BPM case, when you have the case-upload permission.
Special folders¶
- Container folders group documents stored in subfolders.
- Fixed or placeholder folders represent empty or migrated cases.
- Restricted repositories are hidden unless you have the restricted-access permission.
- Internal taxonomy can hide system repositories and groups from configuration screens.
Permissions¶
explorador:ver— browse the explorer.documento:ver_restringidos— see restricted repositories.bpm_ingesta:subir_caso— upload documents to a BPM case.configuracion:editar— rebuild the explorer index or clear its cache.
