Event Analytics

The volume and mix of audit events. Use this dashboard to understand overall activity and the distribution of event types.

What you see

• Date range (top right).
• Current Total Events — the total in the audit log; this card ignores the date range.
• Total Events for Period — the total inside the selected date range.
• Events Timeseries — event volume over time.
• Event Distribution — a donut chart breaking events down by event type.

How to use it

1. Compare Current Total Events with Total Events for Period to see how much of the history the selected period represents.
2. Use the timeseries to find spikes and quiet periods.
3. Use the distribution to see which event types dominate; then open the Explorer to inspect those events.

Notes

• Current Total Events deliberately does not follow the date filter.
• The donut groups by event type; the exact types come from your workspace data.
