Designer¶
Designer is where process designers create and maintain processes. It has two parts:
| Part | What it covers |
|---|---|
| Processes | The list of processes and their lifecycle: create, edit, import, export, activate, and delete |
| Case Tables | Create custom tables, group them into domains, and publish schema changes |
Open a process from Designer → Processes to reach its design tools:
- DynaForms
- Input documents
- Output documents
- Triggers
- Report tables
- Database connections
- Case scheduler
- Process access
- Web entry
Designer access
Designer requires the process-design permission (PM_FACTORY). Additional
sections, such as Case Tables, have their own permissions.
Changes affect running cases
Editing a process can change how new and running cases behave. Test process changes in a safe environment before you apply them in production.
