Access rules

Access rules add conditional visibility and sharing on top of the ACL matrix. Use them when access depends on attributes such as repository, group, type, or department.

Manage rules

1. Open Administration → Access rules.
2. Choose New, or select a rule to edit.
3. Choose the subject (user or group) and the target.
4. Add the conditions.
5. Set allow or deny.
6. Save.

How rules combine with ACL

Access rules narrow or extend what ACL allows. A deny condition still wins over an allow. Case-level restrictions and restricted repositories are applied separately.

Permissions

• regla_compartir:ver — view rules.
• regla_compartir:crear, regla_compartir:editar, regla_compartir:eliminar — manage them.
