Dashboard¶
The Dashboard is the DMS landing page. It summarizes document volume, storage, drafts, and recent activity.
KPI cards¶

| Documents entered today | Documents created today |
| Active documents | Documents in active status |
| Archived | Documents moved to the archive |
| Drafts | Documents still in a draft step |
| Total documents | All documents visible to you |
| Storage | Storage used by the visible documents |
The cards are links: selecting one opens Documents with the matching filter.
Recent activity¶
The activity feed shows recent document events. What you see depends on your permissions:
- users with audit access can see workspace activity;
- other users see the activity they are allowed to see.
Quick links¶
The dashboard can include a link to System status for administrators.
How to use it¶
- Check Documents entered today and Drafts for pending work.
- Use the cards to jump to the underlying document list.
- Open Documents for detailed filters and search.
Permissions¶
The dashboard requires a signed-in session. The activity feed and some cards depend on document and audit permissions.
